I grandi vitigni italiani - CORVINA

The great Italian vines - CORVINA

Corvina is a red grape variety widely grown in Veneto, where it is a fundamental component of Valpolicella and Bardolino wines. It is also cultivated in other Italian regions, as well as in Argentina, Chile and Spain.

Corvina is known for its high acidity and moderate tannins, which give it a lively and brilliant character. It is often blended with other grape varieties, such as Rondinella and Molinara, to create wines with complex flavors and aromas. When used as a varietal, Corvina wines tend to be medium to full bodied, with red fruit flavors and a hint of spice. They can be enjoyed young or aged for several years, depending on the style of wine desired.
