Labellum was the medieval name for Lavello and was chosen for the entire product line representing the entire Vulture territory. In fact, there is the typical Aglianico, in the company of Dry Muscat, Fiano, Greco and Falanghina, which are all local vines, as well as the international Chardonnay. These are wines with great fruit and freshness, in which the primary aromas are well developed and make them very enjoyable.

Origin: Labellum was the medieval name for Lavello and has been chosen for the entire product line representing the entire Vulture territory.

Type of soil: The soil is predominantly volcanic, rich in magnesium and potassium.

Grape varieties: Aglianico del Vulture 100%

Growing system: Guyot

Altitude: 400 m a.s.l.

Exposure: North - South

Vineyard area: 9 Ha

Grape production per ha: 90 q.li

Harvest time: Third decade of October.

Winemaking: Crushing and destemming with a small destemmer and fermentation on the skins for about 12 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (26°C).

Evolution and ageing: 4 months in small oak barriques of about 225 litres. Bottling and subsequent ageing for 6 months in bottle.

Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol.

Typology: dry

Organoleptic test: Intense ruby red colour, bouquet with notes of red berry fruit with delicate hints of spices typical of the variety, savoury, harmonious and intense on the palate.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C

Gastronomic pairings: First courses and meat sauces, cheeses and cured meats.
