Selection of Barbera grapes from vineyards owned by Azienda Agricola Franco Mondo, planted at the beginning of the 1980s, facing west and south-west, located in the municipality of San Marzano Oliveto, a typical Barbera d'Asti production area.
VINIFICATION:
Obtained from the vinification of Barbera grapes conducted with the aim of obtaining a wine with a certain structure but at the same time expressing its characteristics as a young red wine with a particular freshness.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Ruby red in colour with good intensity, it has a tendentially floral bouquet that evolves into ethereal with moderate ageing; on the palate it is dry, fresh, full and harmonious and slightly sweetish.
Gastronomic pairings:
Served at cellar temperature, it also goes well with very humble foods, such as bread with salami or gorgonzola cheese, but it also goes well with first courses, game, grilled meats and hard cheeses.
