VARIETY: 100% Barbera
ORIGIN:
The "Willow" is obtained by pressing Barbera grapes from a single vineyard planted in 1984 exposed to the Southeast.
VINIFICATION:
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand 120 - 130 days after flowering, placing the bunches with care in crates in order to preserve their integrity as much as possible.
After the alcoholic fermentation, the skins remain to macerate in the wine for a period ranging from 10 to 15 days and at the end of fermentation malolactic, the wine continues to mature in French oak barrels for about 8 months.
After bottling, it ages for at least 6 months before being released for consumption.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Deep ruby red color with violet reflections, it has a vinous, fruity and warm scent with undergrowth nuances .
The taste is complex, harmonious, intense and persistent, with good structure.
