Technical notes: white grape variety, indigenous to ROERO, produces medium-sized pyramid-shaped bunches with medium-small grapes.
Maximum production 100 Q per hectare.
It is often described as an anomalous white because of its remarkable structure and typical vanilla scents. . By the winery's own choice, it is bottled in spring, generally in April-May. It is vinified in stainless steel at a controlled temperature to enhance the bouquet, after fermentation it is racked off and after about twenty days begins the so-called "suspended grounds" phase for about four months: it is simply agitated and kept on the lees.
A very 'glamorous' wine also thanks to the commitment of a few producers who have believed and believe in this jewel of Piedmontese viticulture and oenology, even if it is worth remembering that only the Roero Arneis denomination indicates and guarantees that the grapes come entirely from the typical production area, i.e. Roero.
It has recently been promoted to d.o.c.g. status.

Colour: straw yellow with golden notes, brilliant, very warm
Bouquet: intense, harmonious and enveloping, expressing notes of acacia flowers and hawthorn that are accompanied by warmer sensations of apple, anise, bread crust and vanilla typical of Arneis wine.
Taste: full, clean, soft. Good structure, acidity present but not annoying that supports and accompanies the bouquet.
White flowers return, vanilla and bread crust increase the perception of volume. Excellent olfactory persistence.
Pairings: A good aperitif, but finds its optimum with first courses, sea and land, excellent with fish or white meat.
