Technical notes: black grape vine, it produces pyramid-shaped bunches of medium size with small berries,ROERO is produced from pure nebbiolo grapes coming exclusively from vineyards located in the roero, ROERO OCCHETTI SAN PIETRO is a cru'where the vineyards are in a sub-zone located in the municipality of monteu roero, the sub-zone is called OCCHETTI SAN PIETRO and is located in the hamlet of occhetti above the ancient parish church of san pietro from vineyards with a totally southern exposure and are exposed to the sun all day long

Maximum production 80 Q per hectare.

For Roero Riserva, the regulations require 30 months of ageing, and the wine must be aged in wood. The company has chosen to age it for 36 months in small wooden barrels (barriques).

Bouquet: warm, enveloping, heady, complex. Aromatic and balsamic notes in the opening followed and supported by woody scents, vanilla, cloves, cinnamon with a citrus finish. Fine and persistent.

Taste: full and voluminous, warm and soft. Smooth but still fresh tannins and good acidity are excellent prerequisites for further bottle ageing. Leather, precious woods, spices return with a bitterish finish typical of Nebbiolo. Great structure and finesse, perfect taste-olfactory balance.

Pairings: important, elaborate main courses, grilled meat, blue cheeses, particular and daring pairing with chocolate
