Passerina is a grape variety belonging to the large family of the Trebbiano, and is considered indigenous to central-eastern Italy. It has found its range of diffusion mainly in the Marche region in the area around Offida. It is vinified in cement barrels and matured in steel and in bottles, and is delicate and enveloping, accompanying a decisive and ripe fruit, with a beautiful straw-yellow colour and golden reflections. It is a wine that should be consumed fairly young, and no more than 2 years old.
