Abbey-inspired ale, clear with a pleasant round malt taste. Slightly alcoholic fruity notes combine with the clean character of the malts; surprisingly drinkable considering the high alcohol content. Intense golden appearance, white, persistent foam. Originally popularised by the Trappist monastery of Westmalle. Bottle-fermented.
