Harvest: Manual, in the first ten days of October.
Vinification: Chilling of the harvested grapes using cold storage. Manual sorting of the bunches, soft destemming, manual selection of the grapes. Cold pre-fermentation maceration on the skins for about 30 days in steel at a temperature of 26°C.
Ageing: In steel for 12 months, in new French oak barrigues for 24 months and at least 12 months in bottle before release.
Colour: Intense, impenetrable ruby red with purple hints.
Nose: Particularly engaging and rich: notes of tobacco, liquorice, chocolate and leather alternate with spices and Mediterranean scrub.
Taste: Elegant, savoury, vibrant entry. Vigorous but at the same time fine and velvety tannins support a wine of great taste persistence in which we find the same aromatic components perceived on the nose. The finish is decidedly satisfying.
