The vintage Chianti Classico from the La Madonnina estate bears the appellation of one of the estate's most striking plots, Bello Stento, a small promontory that dominates much of the estate. Grapes with good sugar content are used for this young, fresh and very pleasant wine. Vinified at a controlled temperature and aged for six months in stainless steel barrels, it reaches its maturity already after a year, confirming the Tuscan saying that goes, "pan d'un dì e vin d'un anno." The taste is very fresh, reminiscent of blackberry, juniper and underbrush fruits, confirming the characteristic stuffiness of youth and a remarkable structure. A lovely wine for good everyday dining.
