To obtain La Madonnina Riserva, an initial selection is made in the vineyard, choosing the best grapes from the most suitable soils. In the spring, after vinification is complete, the batches of wine that are best suited for a two-year maturation period in oak barrels are then selected. After three months of bottle aging, the Riserva Chianti Classico can be released to the market. An excellent wine that encapsulates all the warmth and beauty of the Tuscan landscape. The aromas of spices are intense and well blended with the aromas of ripe fruit. On the palate, the hint of black berries and plum emerges, which marries brilliantly with the aromas yielded by the wood. A wine of great elegance and balance in all its components.
