Production area: hilly areas of Pelago in the Chianti Rufina area. Clayey, marly and calcareous soils overlooking the Arno valley east of Florence.

Training system : spurred cordon.
Grapes : Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon.
Grape harvest : first half of October.
Vinification : fermentation of the grapes for 15 days in thermoregulated steel vats (28/30°C). Racking and then malolactic fermentation in steel. After fermentation, the wine passes into wooden barrels.
Maturation : 24 months in wooden barrels.
Possibility of aging : 15/20 years.
Visual aspect : ruby red.
Perfume : enveloping perfume, savory taste and excellent persistence.
Taste : wine of great personality, round and balanced with balsamic notes.
Accompaniments : it goes well with savory dishes and red meats, especially grilled.
