Nerello mascalese and Nero calabrese 50% from highly suitable vineyards under the control of the 'Quality Project' in the Bocale (RC) area.

Vinification and maturation:

Alcoholic fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature and maceration on the marc with pumping over and punching down for about 15 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barriques where the wine remains for about 6 months.

Maturation in bottle for 2 months.

Organoleptic characteristics:

It has an intense and deep ruby red colour with violet reflections, a complex bouquet with hints of red fruits. On the palate it expresses decisive minerality, soft with subtle tannins, decisively recalls notes of sage and rosemary accompanied by a slight spicy note.

Alcoholic Grade:

14.5 % vol.

Recommended pairings:

Excellent with roast meat and noble game, goes well with grilled meats, sausages and sliced meats.
