In the area called Poderuccio in the heart of the Santavenere estate, particular for its microclimate, exposure and soil, this excellent wine is born. Vinified with modern technology, but in full respect of traditional red maceration, it then goes through 18 months of aging in small wooden barrels, partly new. A further six months of storage in steel and six months of bottle aging complete this great wine. Intense ruby red in color, it has an important olfactory impact on the nose with complex sensations: tobacco, cherry jam, licorice, balsamic and toasted notes in good evidence. The mouth is soft and warm with elegant tannins. The finish is persistent, complex and warm with elegant tannins.
