It is a wine that particularly qualifies for its gifts, which are especially evident on the nose, thanks to the right altitude of the vineyards and the diversity of soils, which enhance its aromas and elegance. In spring, after fermentation, Santavenere matures and is aged for 18 months in large and small oak barrels in the Farm's splendid new cellar. After another 6 months of resting in steel, the wine is ready for bottling. Santavenere lends itself to medium and long aging, deep red in color with garnet reflections; the bouquet is intense and aromatic, with typical hints of violets and slight hints of mint; on the palate the wine is rich, full-bodied, velvety and elegant, slightly tannic and with good persistence.
